Student Leadership
Many of the interesting and exciting events that happen at Allendale School are the result of students taking the lead. We would like to see every student take the lead in some aspect of our school life. We offer Leadership classes to grade nine students as complementary courses. These students are very involved in the school and take the lead in such things as pizza lunches, selling school clothing, leading assemblies, leading Wacky Wednesday activities, producing the school yearbook, and planning school-wide events like dances and our formal day in February. Each homeroom also has the opportunity to lead in one or two school-wide events. These have included a Haunted House, Pancake Breakfast, Hawaiian Day, Hockey Week and PJ Day. As well, we are always open to students taking the lead in a new activity which they would like to see happening at Allendale School.
