Allendale is full in planned classes for 2024-2025

For the 2024 - 2025 school year, Allendale School is full in planned classes in Grades 7 to 9 in the regular and Cogito programs. We will no longer accept enrolment requests for these grade levels in the Cogito program. For the regular program, we will now only accept resident students in Grades 7 to 9 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into the school’s attendance area. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enroll in another Division school with space in planned classes.

CURRENT DIVISION STUDENTS PRE-ENROL

You will need to pre-enrol on SchoolZone to tell us the school you’d like your child to attend next year. Find important dates and deadlines and learn more about pre-enrolment, which opens February 1.

Cogito Program Enrolment Priority 

Dear parents,

Allendale School will give priority to all families living south of the river, west of Gateway Boulevard. If there is still room at the school once these families have been accommodated, the principal of Allendale School may hold a random selection for all remaining spaces in the program. Cogito Map

Edith Rogers School will give priority to all families living east of Gateway Boulevard and south of Whitemud Drive. If there is still room at the school once these families have been accommodated, the principal of Edith Rogers School may hold a random selection for all remaining spaces in the program. Cogito Map

  

Allendale or Edith Rogers Schools will use the following sequence to determine the enrolment priority for Grade 7 Cogito students:

1. Students seeking continuity of District Cogito programming who reside within the program enrolment boundary and the school’s attendance area

2. Students seeking continuity of District Cogito programming who reside within the program enrolment boundary

3. Students from within the school’s attendance area who are new to Cogito

4. All other students seeking continuity of District Cogito programming but who reside outside the program enrolment boundary.

5. Siblings (new to Cogito) of existing students, who reside outside the school’s attendance area

6. All other students.
